IGP Crime J&K lauds professionalism and contributions of personnel on 77th Republic Day

Jammu:The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at the Crime Branch Headquarters, Channi Rama, Jammu, on Monday.

On the occasion, the National Flag was hoisted by Inspector General of Police, Crime J&K, Sujit Kumar Singh, IPS, in the presence of senior officers, including SSP Crime Branch EOW Jammu Faisal Qureshi, JKPS, SSP Fingerprint Bureau Mohd Yousuf, JKPS, SSP CICE J&K Ramnish Gupta, JKPS, SSP Crime Branch SCW Jammu Sanjay Parihar, JKPS, SSP ANTF J&K Anwar Ul Haq, JKPS, Additional SP Fingerprint Bureau Noor Ul Hassan, JKPS, and SO to IGP Crime J&K Mohd Shafi, JKPS.

Addressing the gathering, the IGP Crime J&K extended Republic Day greetings to all officers and officials and commended the dedication, professionalism, and sustained efforts of Crime Branch personnel in strengthening the functioning of the Jammu and Kashmir Police. He appreciated the achievements of various units of the Crime Branch Jammu in combating crime and upholding the rule of law.

The IGP also praised the staff for the disciplined parade contingents, the impressive rendition of the National Anthem and Rashtriya salute, and the Tricolour-themed rangoli, which reflected notable artistic skill and added to the dignity of the event.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of sweets among the staff, reflecting a sense of unity, pride, and collective celebration. [KNT]
