Army Pays Tribute to Special Forces Havildar Killed in Counter-Terror Operation

Jammu, January 20,: The White Knight Corps on Monday paid solemn tribute to Havildar Gajendra Singh of the Special Forces, who laid down his life while conducting a counter-terrorism operation in the Singpura area.

In a post on X, the spokesperson of the White Knight Corps said that the General Officer Commanding (GOC), along with all ranks of the Corps, honoured the fallen soldier for his supreme sacrifice during Operation TRASHI-I, which was underway on the night of January 19, 2026.

“Havildar Gajendra Singh displayed exceptional courage and gallantry while executing the operation,” the spokesperson stated, adding that his actions reflected the highest traditions of the Indian Army. The Corps described him as a soldier who exemplified indomitable courage, valour, and selfless devotion to duty.

The White Knight Corps also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family, affirming that the Army stands firmly with them in this hour of grief.

Security forces have continued operations in the area as part of ongoing efforts to neutralize terrorist threats and ensure the safety of civilians.
