Srinagar, Jan 19: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg on Monday said that all arrangements have been completed by the administration for smooth Republic Day celebrations in Srinagar.
Speaking with reporters here, Anshul Garg, per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that children are excited to take part in cultural programmes, and rehearsals have already begun at the Bakhshi stadium.
He said that illumination of government buildings across Srinagar is underway to mark the national event. “This is a very important festival for us. All departments are preparing to celebrate it at their respective levels and offices,” he said.
He also said that Srinagar is witnessing a significant civic transformation under the Smart City Mission, with major infrastructure and public service projects nearing completion ahead of the Republic Day celebrations—(KNO)
