Senior Asian Mail Member Shariq Maqbool Bereaved by the Demise of His Mother

Shariq Maqbool, a senior member of Asian Mail and a resident of Ferozpora, Baramulla, has been bereaved by the demise of his beloved mother, who passed away after a brief illness. Her passing has caused deep sorrow among family members, relatives, and the journalistic fraternity.

The last rites of the deceased will be performed in her native Village. The funeral prayers will be offered today at 3:30 PM, following which she will be laid to rest at the ancestral graveyard.

On this sad occasion, Asian Mail Editor-in-Chief Rashid Rahil, Assistant Editor Showkat Sahil, Managing Editor Mahboob Jeelani, Senior Correspondent Firdous Wani, Senior Member Mohammad Ashraf, along with all staff members of the organization, expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise. They prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and for patience and strength to the bereaved family, especially Shariq Maqbool, to bear this irreparable loss.

May Almighty Allah grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannah and give courage to the family to endure this great loss. Ameen.
