Srinagar, Dec 22,: Zoona Begum, mother-in-law of Senior Correspondent Kashmir Uzma, Ghulam Nabi Raina, passed away on Sunday night after brief illness, family sources said. The demise has been widely mourned across journalistic and official circles.
Colleagues from Daily Kashmir Uzma, Kashmir News Trust and Glacier Times expressed deep sorrow over the loss and conveyed solidarity with the bereaved family. Senior journalists, staff members and reporters from various organisations offered prayers for the departed soul and extended heartfelt sympathies to the family.
