Locals have expressed apprehension that if eggs circulating in the market are unsafe, bakery items prepared using the same raw material could also pose potential health risks. Cakes, pastries, biscuits, and other commonly consumed bakery products are largely dependent on eggs, making the issue a matter of public concern.

Food safety experts and concerned citizens have stressed that regulatory authorities have a critical responsibility to intervene promptly. Consumers have appealed to the concerned departments to take immediate action, ensure accountability, and publicly share findings of inspections.
