Unidentified Male Found Unconscious at TRC Ground Dies at SMHS; Police Seek Public Help for Identification

Srinagar, Dec 5,: An unidentified male person was found lying unconscious at TRC ground Srinagar on Thursday, prompting the Police Station Kothibagh to intervene and shift him to SMHS Hospital for treatment. Authorities said the man was declared dead by doctors shortly after arrival.

Police officials noted that passersby alerted them after spotting the individual lying motionless on the ground. A team from Kothibagh immediately reached the spot and moved him to the hospital in an emergency response.

With no identification documents recovered from the deceased, police have appealed to the general public to help establish his identity. The body has been preserved as part of the medico-legal process, and efforts are underway to trace his family.

Police have requested anyone with information about the deceased individual to contact  91496 80280 or get in touch with Police Station Kothibagh.

The police said public cooperation is crucial in ensuring the deceased is identified and his family informed at the earliest. [KNT]
