DGP Nalin Prabhat reviews security preparedness in Poonch

Jammu, Nov 20: Director General of Police (DGP) J&K, Nalin Prabhat, on Thursday visited Poonch to assess the security situation in the border district.

During the visit, as per news agency Kashmir Indpeth News Service (KINS) DGP chaired a high-level joint security review meeting attended by senior officers from the Jammu & Kashmir Police, and other security agencies.

The meeting focused on the prevailing security scenario, anti-terror operations, and measures to strengthen coordination among all security agencies operating in the region.

Officials briefed the DGP on recent developments, deployment patterns, and ongoing efforts to enhance surveillance along vulnerable areas.

DGP Prabhat stressed the importance of seamless inter-agency cooperation and directed officers to maintain heightened vigilance to ensure peace and stability in the district. He also emphasized the need for proactive measures to foil any attempts by anti-national elements to disturb the region’s security environment.
