Residence of Doctor Searched in Kulgam; CIK Expands Operation to Srinagar and Other Districts

Srinagar, Nov 18,: Counter Intelligence Kashmir intensified its operations on Tuesday with a set of coordinated searches across multiple locations in south and central Kashmir.

In Kulgam, a joint team of CIK police personnel, CRPF and SOG carried out a search operation at the residence of a doctor in Bugam. Officials said the searches were conducted in the presence of an Executive Magistrate as per legal procedures. The premises were examined for documents, digital devices and other electronic evidence relevant to an ongoing investigation. Further details were awaited from the team by the time this report was filed.

Meanwhile, CIK also conducted pre dawn raids in connection with a fresh case registered recently. The searches were extended to several districts, including Srinagar where teams inspected sections of SMHS Hospital. Similar operations were carried out at other undisclosed locations as part of the wider probe.

Officials confirmed that the searches are part of an investigative measures aimed at gathering material evidence related to doctor module.

Security agencies have increased coordinated actions across Kashmir in recent weeks as part of ongoing investigation.
