Kulgam:Locals in Laru–Chawalgam area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday spotted an abandoned Tata Mobile vehicle (JK03D-1058) with all four tyres missing, prompting a swift response from security forces.
Upon receiving the information, Kulgam Police along with personnel of 18 Battalion CRPF rushed to the spot and secured the area. Officials said the vehicle is being examined thoroughly as part of standard security protocol.
Initial assessment suggests that thieves removed all the tyres before abandoning the vehicle at the site.
Police said further investigation is underway and additional details will be shared as the inquiry progresses. [KNT]
