Awareness Camp Conducted by J&K SC, ST & BC Development Corporation

Ganderbal : The Jammu & Kashmir Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes & Backward Classes Development Corporation today conducted an Awareness Camp at Thane, Ganderbal. The programme was organized and sponsored by the National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation (NBCFDC).

The camp aimed to educate local residents about the various welfare and development schemes run by the Corporation for the benefit of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Safaikaramcharies, Differently abled and National Minorities.

The programme was attended by officials of the Corporation, including District Manager, Mr. Shabir Ahmed Bhatt; Field Supervisor, Mr. Shabir Ahmed War; Recovery Assistant, Mr. Zahoor Ahmed Rather; and Mr. Nisar Ahmed Khatana assisting in recovery. The Sarpanch of Thane was also present, along with participants from the surrounding localities.

The attendees were informed about the schemes and initiatives undertaken by the Corporation to uplift and support marginalized communities.

The Corporation expressed its commitment to continue such awareness programmes in the future to ensure that eligible beneficiaries are well informed about the assistance available to them. Application forms were also given out among the interested people wishing to avail the loan facility.
