Pedestrian injured in Budgam road accident succumbs in Srinagar hospital

Srinagar: A pedestrian from Kachwari area of Khansahab in central Kashmir’s Budgam district who was injured in a road accident on Thursday has succumbed to injuries at SMHS Hospital Srinagar.

The deceased has been identified as Ghulam Mohammad Dar, son of Ghulam Ahmad, a 50-year-old resident of Kachwari Khansahib.

Dar was critically injured after being hit by an Tata-mobile in his native village and was initially shifted to Sub District Hospital Khansahib. He was later referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment where he breathed his last today.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident. [KNT]
