Schools in Jammu Division to remain closed till September 2 due to bad weather

Jammu, Sep 1,: Authorities have ordered the closure of all government as well as private schools across the Jammu Division till September 2 in view of the prevailing inclement weather conditions.

According to an order issued by the Directorate of School Education Jammu on Monday, the suspension of classwork has been extended for one more day as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students.

The directive, signed by Dr. Naseem Javaid Chowdhary, Director of School Education Jammu, stated that the decision was taken after reviewing the situation caused by persistent adverse weather in the region.
