Jammu-Srinagar NHW Closed Amid Heavy Rains; Commuters Advised to Avoid Travel

Srinagar, Aug 18 : The traffic on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) has been closed to all vehicular traffic due to heavy rainfall and shooting stones at multiple locations.

An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner—KNC that the highway is experiencing heavy rain across its entire stretch, making it unsafe for travel. Commuters have been advised against undertaking any journey until the weather improves and the road is cleared.
