Cloudburst in Lolab’s Warnow forest area, no loss of life or property

Kupwara: A cloudburst was reported in the forest area of Warnow in north Kashmir’s Lolab region on Monday, triggering heavy water flow in the nearby streams and nullahs.

Officials said that preliminary reports confirmed sudden gushing of water following the incident. However, no casualties or damage to property have been reported so far.

Authorities said the situation is being closely monitored and that field staff has been directed to remain vigilant in case of any eventuality. [KNT]
