Bandipora: A 19-year-old youth from Srinagar died and another sustained injuries after a truck collided with a scooty near Wullar Vantage in Bandipora on Monday.
Reports said the two youth, both residents of Batamaloo Srinagar, were riding the scooty when the accident took place. They were shifted to District Hospital Bandipora where doctors declared one of them, identified as Irshad Manzoor, dead on arrival.
The other injured youth is undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident. [KNT]
