DC Jammu Sachin Vaishya Given Additional Charge as CEO of Vaishno Devi Shrine Board

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday assigned additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Katra to Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Sachin Kumar Vaishya (IAS), in the interest of administration.

According to Government Order, Vaishya will take over the role of CEO, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board in addition to his own duties. The arrangement has been made for the period of deputation of Anshul Garg (IAS), the current CEO, to the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie.

Garg, an IAS officer of the 2013 batch, has been nominated for deputation from July 21 to August 16, 2025, during which period Vaishya, an IAS officer of the 2015 batch (AGMUT cadre), will oversee the functioning of the Shrine Board. [KNT]
