Ganderbal: To ensure the safety of pilgrims during the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, Ganderbal Police conducted a Mock Drill today along the Yatra route.
The drill tested the readiness and coordination of security forces in handling emergency situations such as threats, evacuations, and crowd control.
Senior police officers supervised the exercise and reviewed standard operating procedures.
Special attention was given to high-footfall areas to assess the quick response capabilities of the teams. The exercise was conducted smoothly without causing any disruption to Yatris or locals.
Ganderbal Police thanked the public for their cooperation and reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a safe and peaceful Amarnath Ji Yatra-2025.
