Teenager Dies After Scooty Hits Divider in Hutmurah Mattan

Anantnag, May 13: A 19-year-old boy died after his scooty met with an accident on KP Road at Hutmurah Mattan area of Anantnag district on Monday evening.

Officials told news agency JKNS JKNS that the victim, identified as Saqib Muneer Faridi, son of Muneer Ahmad and a resident of Iqbal Abad KP Road Anantnag, lost control of his scooty and hit a road divider, resulting in serious injuries.

He was immediately rushed to SDH Seer Hamdan, from where doctors referred him to GMC Anantnag. However, due to the severity of his condition, he was further shifted to SKIMS Soura, where he succumbed to his injuries.Police have taken cognisance of the incident. (JKNS)
