Cyber Police Conduct Raids in Srinagar and Ganderbal in Mule Account Fraud Case

Srinagar, April 17,: In a crackdown on financial cybercrime, the Cyber Police Kashmir, in collaboration with local police stations, carried out multiple raids across Srinagar and Ganderbal districts on Thursday.

Reliable sources told Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Dot Com that at least three location in Srinagar and Ganderbal were raided early this morning, with the focus on individuals allegedly involved in facilitating fraudulent transactions through bank accounts opened in their names — commonly referred to as mule accounts.

Sources confirmed that the raids were launched following credible inputs and technical surveillance by Cyber Police Kashmir. “Cyber police Kashmir is investigating the network of individuals who have allowed their credentials. (KDC)
