Exchange Fire With Terrorists In Lasana Poonch: Army

Srinagar: Army on Tuesday said that there was an exchange of fire between army and terrorists on Monday evening in Lasana area of Surankote in Poonch district.

Taking on micro-blogging platform X, the army’s Knight Corps wrote, “Contact was established with terrorists during a joint operation with @JmuKmrPolice at Lasana, Surankote last night.
Additional troops have been inducted, and search operations are ongoing to prevent the terrorists from escaping.

A senior police officer also told GNS that more reinforcement has been rushed to the suspected site and search operation is underway.(GNS)
