Kupwara: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kupwara Unit today successfully organized an Active Members Convention at the Community Hall, Batergam, Kupwara.
The Event was chaired by District President Kupwara Syed Mohmmad Rafiq Shah and attended by senior party functionaries, Constituency presidents, booth-level workers, and dedicated BJP karyakartas from across Kupwara.
Speakers at Event highlighted the unparalleled achievements of the BJP-led central government under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, especially over the past decade. They also discussed the expanding organizational base of the party and emphasized the importance of unity, dedication, and outreach.
In a powerful address, Former District President Mohd Shafi Mir spoke about the foundation of the BJP in India and its early struggle, highlighting the commitment, sacrifices, and dedication of BJP leaders and workers who laid the groundwork for a strong, nationalist, and development-focused political movement. He emphasized how the party’s ideology of “Nation First” and its firm stand on integrity and governance paved the way for the BJP’s historic rise across the country.
Former District President Javid Qureshi in a meeting applauded the central government’s transformative initiatives like PM Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Jal Jeevan Mission, and Digital India, highlighting their positive impact on the people of Kupwara.
He also discussed about preparations for upcoming political and public outreach programs, implementation of central government welfare schemes in the region, and amplifying the message of Viksit Bharat- 2047—an ambitious national vision being led by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
Addressing the gathering, National Executive Member G M Mir emphasised party unity, social harmony, and the importance of remaining connected with the public at the grassroots level. He also encouraged youth participation and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to the development and progress of Kupwara district.
Mir also in his concluding remarks, lauding the commitment and discipline of the Kupwara cadre. He stressed the need for continued public engagement and the importance of taking government schemes and developmental initiatives to every household.
District President Syed Mohd Rafiq Shah, in his address, appreciated the efforts of the Organizing Committee and acknowledged the tireless contribution of all workers and volunteers who made the convention a success. He also elaborated on the party’s journey since its inception, and spoke extensively about the visionary governance of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji over the past decade.
Shah also highlighted landmark initiatives like Digital India, Swachh Bharat, Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat, and many more, asserting that these programs have laid the foundation for the dream of Viksit Bharat , developed and globally respected India.
The meeting concluded with a strong resolution to intensify booth-level engagements and work collectively towards realizing the dream of a developed and self-reliant India.
