Two Persons Injured In Awantipora, Sumbal Road Accident

Srinagar: Two People were injured in twin road accidents in Awantipora and Sumbal on Saturday.

Officials told GNS that a bus bearing registration number JKO1AA0343 and a Alto car bearing registration number JK03M 6048 collided with each other near Ziyarat Shareef Awantipora.

In this incident the driver of Alto namely Umer Nazir son of Nazir Ahmad Reshi resident of Pahalgam was injured.

He was shifted to PHC Awantipora, where doctors referred him to SMHS hospital Srinagar for further treatment.

Similarly, a motorcyclist was injured in a road accident near Shivlat Sumbal area. He has been identified as Danish Ahmad Ganie son of Mohd Ramzan Resident of Kunan Bandipora.

He was shifted to CHC Sumbal where from he was referred to Srinagar hospital for advanced treatment.(GNS)
