Security Beefed Up Across Kulgam Ahead of Amit Shah’s Visit

Kulgam: Ahead of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s scheduled visit to Jammu and Kashmir, security has been heightened across the Kulgam district to ensure a peaceful and incident-free event.
Kulgam Police have intensified checking and frisking operations across the district, with special focus on sensitive areas. Multiple security checkpoints have been established, and surprise checking drives are underway as a precautionary measure.
In Devsar, on the directions of SSP Kulgam, the Station House Officer (SHO) Devsar led a series of checking and frisking operations at various locations. Police personnel were seen thoroughly verifying identities and inspecting vehicles to maintain strict surveillance.
