Sarai Bala Residents Demand Reopening of Locked Public Toilet

Srinagar: The public toilet maintained by the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) in Sarai Bala has remained locked for the past two years, causing inconvenience to local shopkeepers and the general public.

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS) Residents and business owners in the area have repeatedly urged the authorities to take action, highlighting the urgent need for a functional public facility. They have called on the SMC to address the issue without further delay.

With no alternative restroom facilities available, the closure has created significant hardships, particularly for shopkeepers who spend long hours in the area.

The affected citizens are now demanding immediate intervention from the administration to reopen the facility and ensure its proper maintenance.(KNS)
