Renewal & new arm license process should not be delayed at any cost: Dr Abhijeet Jasrotia

Jammu: Expressing deep concern over the heinous terrorists’ act by the stooges of Pakistan which claimed the precious lives of our brave police personnel, Dr. Abhijeet Singh Jasrotia batted for the renewal and the issuing of new arm licenses to the appropriate people who fulfil all the norms and regulations.
Dr. Abhijeet Jasrotia, Spokesperson, J&K BJP accompanied by Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Media Incharge, J&K BJP and Parduman Singh, senior leader, asked for the strengthening of second line of defense in the region in a press conference held at BJP headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Dr. Abhijeet Singh Jasrotia, said that the brave police personnel made the supreme sacrifice in the encounter at Jathana, Kathua. He said that our forces also neutralized many terrorists in the encounter and praised them for the valiance and the effort.
He said that the irreparable loss to the martyrs’ families cannot be filled, but the activists of BJP will always be present beside them. He praised the security personnel for their spirit of sacrifice and said that this essence keeps saving us from the nefarious designs of Pakistan.
“Due to the extreme pressure by the Indian security forces, Pakistan is trying to modify its terrorism strategy and shift focus from Kashmir to the other parts, our forces are fully capable to respond effectively to this evil design by the stringent measures like Balakot”, said Dr. Abhijeet Jasrotia.
He requested the people of Kathua to show their unity to fail the nefarious designs of Pakistan and its sponsored terrorists. He said that the history reminds us that the people of Kathua successfully thwarted the attempts of Turks, and Mongols and other invaders with their unity and valiance. He further requested the people to be alert to notice any unscrupulous element/movement and report them to the security agencies, while terming this as a battle of everyone.
He made a fervent appeal to the administration for the renewal and the issuing of new arm licenses to the eligible persons, who have fulfilled all the regulations and the necessary formalities have been checked. He said that the whole essential process of renewal and the issuance of new licences should not be disturbed due to the fault of certain tainted persons which is endangering the lives of common people as a result.
Dr. Abhijeet Jasrotia was also very vocal to attack the regional political parties of Jammu & Kashmir for their insensitivity on the issue, not condemning Pakistan for the heinous acts resulting in the martyrdom, and instead favouring dialogue with the terrorist nation. He added that India follows the policy of ‘terrorism and talks cannot go together’ and no such act will go unavenged.
