Jammu: The Public Health Engineering (PHE) daily wagers have called off their strike after successful talks with Jal Shakti Minister Javed Ahmad Rana. The Minister assured them that the government is committed to addressing their genuine issues in a phased manner.
During the talks, representatives of the daily wagers presented their demands and raised concerns, which were acknowledged by the Minister. He encouraged them to raise their grievances with the committee set up to address these issues.
Minister Rana also recognized the valuable contributions of daily wagers to various departments and assured them that their concerns are being heard. The government is working towards a fair and sustainable solution to address the problems faced by the daily wagers.
