According to a public notice issued by the RTO, the cancellation is due to ongoing tree cutting work in the SRTC workshop premises, rendering the area temporarily unsuitable for conducting tests.

The RTO has also communicated this information to the Transport Commissioner J&K, Jammu, and the Joint Director of Information with a request to publish the notice through print and electronic media.
