Srinagar: The Office of the Regional Transport Officer (RTO), Kashmir, has announced the cancellation of all driving skill tests scheduled from March 26 to April 4, 2025.
According to a public notice issued by the RTO, the cancellation is due to ongoing tree cutting work in the SRTC workshop premises, rendering the area temporarily unsuitable for conducting tests.
According to the News Agency—Srinagar News Observer (SNO) Applicants who were scheduled to appear for the tests during this period will be notified of the revised schedule through SMS on their registered phone numbers in due course.
The RTO has also communicated this information to the Transport Commissioner J&K, Jammu, and the Joint Director of Information with a request to publish the notice through print and electronic media.
