Anantnag girl found dead in Srinagar, probe launched

Srinagar: A girl from Anantnag was found dead today in the Shalteng area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar, officials said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that her body was found today morning in the Shalteng area, following which police arrived at the spot.

He said that an investigation has been launched in this regard. The girl has been identified as Asifa Bashir daughter of Bashir Ahmad of Kokernag—(KNO)
