“J&K to Witness Dry Weather from March 17-26 with light snow likely on 19th” : MeT 

Srinagar: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a weather forecast for Jammu and Kashmir predicting generally dry weather from 17-26 March with a possibility of light snow over isolated higher reaches on the night of March 19.

According to the forecast, a fresh spell of light rain and snow is expected in higher reaches on March 27-28.

In view of the weather forecast, the authorities have issued advisories for travelers, tourists, transporters, and farmers.

Travelers, tourists, and transporters are advised to follow administrative and traffic advisories.

Farmers are advised to resume farm operations.

People are warned to avoid sloppy and avalanche-prone areas.
