MeT Predicts Dry Weather in Jammu and Kashmir till Mar 9

Srinagar: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has predicted a spell of light to moderate rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir from March 10 to 14.

According to the MeT Department, the region will experience generally dry weather till March 9. However, from March 10-11, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain/snow at higher reaches in many places.

On March 12, the weather will be generally cloudy with light rain/snow at isolated places. Another spell of light to moderate rain/snow is expected at many places from March 13-14.

In view of the weather forecast, the authorities have issued advisories for travelers, tourists, transporters, and farmers.

Travelers, tourists, and transporters are advised to follow administrative and traffic advisories.

Farmers are advised to continue farm operations till March 9.

People are warned to avoid sloppy and avalanche-prone areas.
