DC Srinagar reviews progress of registrations under JK Samadhan Portal

Directs all line departments to ensure maximum outreach and citizens registration on the portal

Srinagar: In order to review the progress of the registration process under the JK Samadhan Portal, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat here at Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex, today.

At the outset, the DC highlighted the significance of registrations on The JK Samadhan Portal. He said it is a Government initiative aimed at streamlining and simplifying grievance redressal processes, designed to ensure transparency, accountability and efficiency in addressing public complaints.

On the occasion, Dr Bilal stressed the Officers to sensitize the masses about the The JK Samadhan Portal and prioritize registering citizens on the portal. He emphasized the importance of timely and efficient registration of grievances, which can be accessed and resolved through the portal.

He underscored the importance of the portal in facilitating citizen’s access to Government services and resolving grievances.

The DC directed all the line departments to ensure maximum outreach and participation in the portal’s registration process. CSC VLEs were directed to register a maximum number of people under the portal who are unable to register themselves.

During the meeting, the DC directed for establishing a special Control Room at DC Office to monitor the department wise progress of registrations on The JK Samadhan Portal. He also set targets to each concerned department to ensure all the citizens are registered on the portal at the earliest.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Syed Ahmad Kataria; Chief Planning Officer, Secretary SMC, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Tehsildars, BDOs, AD FCS&CA, CDPOs, District Coordinator CSC and other District Officers.
