Mild Earthquake of 3.5 Magnitude Strikes Leh, Ladakh

Ladakh:A mild earthquake of magnitude 3.5 was recorded in Leh, Ladakh, on February 26, 2025, at 5:36 PM IST. According to seismic data, the tremor was centered at a latitude of 35.87°N and a longitude of 76.27°E, with a depth of 10 kilometers.
According to the News Agency—Srinagar News Observer (SNO) The earthquake was minor in intensity and is unlikely to have caused any significant damage or casualties.However, tremors may have been felt in surrounding areas.
Authorities have not issued any warnings,and there are no reports of disruptions.
Residents in the region are advised to stay informed and follow safety protocols in case of aftershocks.—(SNO)
