Kathua: A young man died in a road mishap at approximately 12:30 PM today on the National Highway near CTM Hatli More, Kathua, as a motorcycle came under the crush of a truck (PB11DB 9866).
The victims, Lovely Sharma (24), son of Rajender Kumar, and Ranjeet Singh (19), son of Pritam Singh, both residents of Surada Sola Kootah, Tehsil Hiranagar, sustained critical injuries. They were taken to GMC Kathua, where doctors certified Ranjeet Singh brought dead.
Lovely Sharma is under treatment, while Ranjeet Singh’s body has been transferred to the mortuary at GMC Kathua. The Police are probing the incident.
