ATM Lying Defunct in Beerwah for Last 2 Months

Budgam: The State Cooperative Bank ATM in Beerwah town of Central Kashmir’s Budgam, has remained defunct for the last two months, causing immense inconvenience to customers. The machine has been non-functional due to a system failure, despite being attached to the bank’s main branch and located at a prime spot in the town.
Locals complain that the ATM remains out of order most of the time, forcing them to visit other ATMs in the area, which, according to them, are also frequently dysfunctional.
“We have lodged repeated complaints with the bank authorities, but nothing has been done. The machine is still not working even after two months,” a local resident told the news agency Kashmir News Trust.
Frustrated customers have urged the authorities to take immediate action and restore ATM services at the earliest. [KNT]
