Er. Rashid makes first appearance in Lok Sabha

Srinagar: Er. Rashid, Member Parliament, Baramulla, attended the proceedings of Lok Sabha for the first time on Tuesday after being elected last year.

Talking to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Shiekh Khursheed, MLA Langate and younger brother of Rashid, said that he attended the proceedings of Lok Sabha for the first time after his election.

“He was brought in custody from Tihar jail this morning to attend the proceedings, “he said.

Rashid, who has been in custody since 2019 in connection with a case, was granted 2-day custody parole by Delhi High Court for attending the ongoing budget session of the Parliament.

His bail plea is in limbo due to jurisdictional issues—(KNO)
