1 Killed, 5 Others Injured In Doda Road Accident

Jammu: Atleast one person was killed while as five others were injured after their vehicle fell into gorge in Kunda Dhar Ponda are of Doda district on Thursday.

Officials told GNS that today a Maruti car bearing registration number JK02AD-8791 lost its control near Kunda Dhar Ponda area and fell into deep gorge.

In this incident one person was killed while as five others were injured, who were rescued and shifted to GMC Doda by locals and police for treatment.

The deceased has been identified as Kavita Devi (15), while as injured have been identified as Sunny (13), S/o Melab Singh, R/o Baravan, Teh Barth Bagla, Doda, Sachan (15), S/o Naresh Kumar, R/o Baravan, Teh Barth Bagla, Doda, Sanjana Devi (25), D/o Bharat Raj, R/o Baravan, Teh Barth Bagla, Doda,Sejal (23), D/o Bharat Raj, R/o Baravan, Teh Barth Bagla, Doda, Punjab Singh (42).

Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.(GNS)
