New Delhi: Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, visited Jama Masjid Delhi and Fatehpuri Masjid, where he met Shahi Imam Syed Ahmad Bukhari and later Mufti Mukarram Ahmed, Imam and Khateeb of Fatehpuri Masjid.
Both the leaders warmly welcomed the Mirwaiz, and their discussions focused on Muslim unity and the role of leadership in addressing community challenges, read a statement, issued by Mirwaiz Kashmir, on X.
Mirwaiz also apprised them of the situation in Kashmir. Both leaders appreciated the efforts of Mirwaiz in promoting peace and dialogue.
