Baramulla: A devastating fire swept through Chakura Pattan village in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district last night, gutting a residential house, three shops, and an Alto car.
The inferno, which caused damage worth lakhs of rupees, kept firefighters, local residents, and Indian Army personnel engaged in a strenuous battle to contain the flames.
Despite their joint efforts, the fire inflicted significant losses before it was finally brought under control.
The cause of the blaze remains unclear, and authorities are assessing the extent of the damage while police have registered a case in this regard. [KNT]
