Unattended Pothole Near Kashmir University Poses Risk to Pedestrians

Srinagar : A large pothole on the footpath near Kashmir University has become a major hazard for pedestrians, making walking in the area increasingly difficult.
The situation is worsened by the presence of stray dogs, particularly at night, adding to the risk for commuters.
Despite being left unattended for over a month, no action has been taken to address the issue, raising serious safety concerns.
Locals fear that if neglected further, the pothole could lead to accidents with potentially fatal consequences.
They urged authorities to take swift action, questioning whether such negligence aligns with the vision of a ‘Smart City.’ [KNT]
