Div Com Kashmir Lauds Preparations for Republic Day Celebrations, Invites Public to Participate

VK Bidhuri highlights improved arrangements and open entry for all
Srinagar: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, on Tuesday, stated that preparations for the upcoming Republic Day celebrations are in place, noting significant improvements in arrangements compared to last year.
Speaking with the media in Srinagar, Div Com Kashmir, VK Bidhuri, as per the news agency JKNS, said the excitement surrounding the event was palpable, and the necessary preparations had been made to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for the public.
“The seating arrangements, LED screens, and refreshments have all been arranged to accommodate the large number of visitors expected in the morning,” he said.
He also extended a warm invitation to the public to participate in the celebrations, emphasizing that there would be no entry passes required for the event. “The event is open to everyone, and we welcome people to join in the Republic Day celebrations,” he added.
He further mentioned that while entry is free, certain restrictions would be in place to ensure the safety and security of the attendees.
