Kupwara: An Army soldier died by suicide at the Ragni post in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday late night.
Official sources told news agency JKNS that the soldier died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound using his service weapon.
He was immediately evacuated to the hospital for treatment, but doctors declared him dead.
Meanwhile, the police have registered a case, and an investigation is underway. (JKNS)
