National Road Safety Month: Awareness Programme Held at Baramulla

Baramulla:  In observance of National Road Safety Month, the Traffic Police department organized an awareness programme at Baramulla, emphasizing the importance of following traffic rules to save precious lives.
DySP Traffic Mujahid Nazir addressed the gathering, briefing them on road safety measures and urging everyone to adhere to traffic rules. He stressed that responsible driving and pedestrian habits can significantly reduce accidents, making Jammu and Kashmir, especially District Baramulla, an accident-free zone.
The programme aimed to educate the public on the dangers of reckless driving, the importance of wearing helmets and seatbelts, and the need to follow traffic signals. By promoting road safety awareness, the Traffic Police department hopes to prevent accidents and ensure a safer future for all.
The event was part of a nationwide initiative to raise awareness about road safety and reduce the number of accidents on North kashmir roads.
