Doda: The body of a missing person was recovered near the village of Kalamal, Doda, under suspicious circumstances, officials said here.
An official told the news agency JKNS that the body of the missing man was found near the village of Kalamal in Doda. He said the man was later identified as Mohd Ishaq, son of Gh Hussain, a resident of Gandow in Tehsil Chilly Pingal, Doda.
He stated that the individual had been reported missing, with a formal complaint filed, and following the recovery of the body, authorities have initiated inquest proceedings.
He added that the deceased’s body has been transported to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Gandoh for a postmortem to determine the exact cause of death. Further investigation into the case is underway. —(JKNS)
