VC DDC Kupwara reviews progress of on-going developmental works

Kupwara: Vice Chairman District Development Council (VC-DDC) Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir today convened a meeting of concerned officers and officials, here to review the progress of various ongoing developmental works of Rural Development Department in DDC Constituency Wavoora.


AC Panchayats Kupwara, BDO Wavoora, Ex. Engineer REW, AEEs, JEs, Panchayat Secretaries, MIS Operators, technical staff and other concerned officials were present in the meeting.
During the meeting, the Vice Chairman was briefed on the progress of various development schemes including 14th F.C, MGNREGA, SBM, PMAY, B2V and other allied schemes. He also reviewed the works under DDC, BDC and PRI grants 2024-25.
The Vice Chairman emphasized the importance of completing these projects on schedule and ensuring that they meet the needs of local communities. He directed the concerned officers for release of pending payment of material and labour to the beneficiaries. Regarding PMAY (R), the VC asked the Surveyors for identification and enrollment of genuine and deserving beneficiaries in the panchayats so that they are benefitted. He asked them to follow guidelines of the Government while enrolling the beneficiaries.
He also reviewed the recently sanctioned works and directed for speedy tendering of the same to ensure timely completion of the works.
