Decomposed Body Recovered from Jhelum River in Sumbal

Bandipora: A decomposed body was recovered from the Jhelum River near the old bridge in Sumbal area of North Kashmir Bandipora district on Monday.

An official told JKNS that the body was spotted floating in the Jhelum River near the old bridge in Sumbal.

The identity of the deceased and the cause of death are yet to be ascertained, he said.

Police have taken cognizance of the matter, and further investigations are underway. (JKNS)
