Police Attaches Property Of Pak Based Terror Handler In Awantipora

Awantipora: Police on Tuesday said that they have attached property of a terror handler in South Kashmir’s Awantipora.

In a statement issued to Asian Mail, the police said that it in Awantipora have attached an immovable property (04  Marlas of land) situated at Syedabad Pastoona Tral worth lakhs belonging to  a terror handler based in Pakistan namely Mubashir Ahmad son of Ghulam Nabi Dar resident of Syedabad Pastuna Tral. The action was taken under sections 25 of UAPA Act.

He further said that the property was identified as belonging to a terror handler during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by Awantipora Police.

Pertinently, the Pak based terrorist handler Mubashir Ahmad is involved in promoting and reviving terrorist activities by pushing in arms & ammunition for activating local terror networks. The operation reaffirms the commitment of J&K Police to combat the terror activities, reads the statement.
