CRPF Lauded for Tackling Naxalism, Restoring Peace in J&K and Northeast: Amit Shah

New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah lauded the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Wednesday for its pivotal role in combating Naxalism and restoring peace in Jammu and Kashmir as well as the Northeastern states.

Speaking during a visit to the CRPF headquarters, Shah acknowledged the force’s significant contribution to internal security and national stability. “The CRPF has done a commendable job in tackling Naxalism and restoring peace and stability in the Northeastern states and Jammu and Kashmir,” Shah said, as per an official statement.
During his visit, the Home Minister met senior CRPF officials, including Director General Anish Dayal Singh, and conducted a comprehensive review of the force’s operational and administrative efficiency.
Shah was apprised of welfare initiatives for the families of martyred CRPF personnel, including compassionate appointments. He highlighted the importance of promoting Hindi in the force’s operations to enhance linguistic unity and urged the use of millets for better health of personnel.
He also encouraged soldiers to adopt Ayurveda and participate in the ‘Prakriti Parikshan Abhiyan’ for personalized health insights.
