Langate: Security forces successfully defused a suspected explosive device discovered in a bag near the forest office along the Handwara-Baramulla highway in Langate on Wednesday.
Officials told KNS that the suspicious bag was spotted by locals, who promptly alerted the authorities.
A bomb disposal squad was dispatched to the scene and safely defused the device.
