Srinagar Residents to Face Power cuts Due to Maintenance Works: KPDCL

 

Srinagar: The Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, has announced two scheduled power shutdowns in Srinagar.

In order to carry out works related to RMU charging, the shutdown of 33KV Wanganpora Kawdara Mughal Masjid line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Kawdara Mughal Masjid shall remain off while the power supply to the Zadibal, Kawdara Mughal Masjid, Rajouri Kadal, Jamia Masjid, Firdous Colony and Bachi Darwaza areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 14 December, 2024.

Similarly, in order to carry out Reconductoring works, the shutdown of 33KV Alusteng Zakura line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Umerheir shall remain off while the power supply to the Ahmad Nagar, Umerheir and Buchpora areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 16, 18 and 21 December, 2024.
